I build identity infrastructure that doesn't watch you.

I’m CTO at Yivi, the privacy-first identity wallet, and at Caesar Groep. Two problems occupy me: making digital identity work at national scale without building a surveillance layer, and rebuilding how engineering teams operate now that agents write most of the first draft.

Before this I spent a decade as a cloud architect, mostly deep in Azure — search scoring, serverless integration, governance frameworks. That writing is still in the archive and still gets read, which is either a compliment or a comment on the documentation.

What I write about

Digital identity

Wallets, verifiable credentials, the European framework, selective disclosure, trust registries. Written from operating a live scheme rather than from the spec.

Agentic coding

Agent workflows, evals for your own pipeline, review at volume, and what all of it does to team structure and hiring.

Speaking

I talk at conferences and internal engineering days about identity architecture and about running teams that ship with agents. Slides and recordings are linked from each talk.
